Confidential Creative Production & Visual Strategy Company – Executive Search (Pre-Publication) Job ID: ECD-26-47 Department: Creative, Brand & Content Production Location: Sydney, Australia — Hybrid / National remit Reports To: Chief Executive Officer Compensation Structure: A$400,000–A$500,000+ total executive compensation, including base, performance incentive and long-term participation Position Overview The mandate is focused on appointing an Executive Creative & Visual Content Director to lead the next stage of growth for a high-end Australian creative production platform serving major brands, corporate clients and national campaigns. The position extends well beyond individual photography. The executive will be responsible for setting the organisation's visual direction, strengthening creative standards, developing production capability and building a scalable network of photographers, directors, producers and specialist creative talent. A significant part of the mandate involves integrating photography, video, digital content, emerging production technologies and AI-enabled creative workflows into a commercially scalable offering. The successful executive will have substantial influence across client strategy, creative development, production operations, talent and major commercial engagements. This positioning is consistent with the evolution of Australia's commercial imaging and production sector, where established businesses are increasingly combining photography, technology, production capability and enterprise-level service delivery. Images for Business Key Responsibilities - Establish the organisation's national creative and visual strategy. - Lead high-value photography, campaign and visual-content programmes. - Build and oversee senior creative and production teams. - Develop relationships with major corporate and agency clients. - Set standards for creative quality, brand consistency and production excellence. - Expand commercial photography and visual-content capabilities nationally. - Integrate AI, digital imaging and emerging production technologies. - Oversee major campaign concepts from creative brief through final delivery. - Partner with the CEO and commercial leadership on growth strategy and key accounts. - Develop senior creative talent and external specialist networks. Qualifications & Experience Essential - Significant professional experience in commercial photography, visual production or a closely related creative discipline. - Demonstrated ability to lead complex commercial photography or content programmes. - Strong creative direction and visual storytelling capability. - Experience working with corporate, agency, luxury, media or major-brand clients. - Proven ability to lead photographers, producers, creatives and external production partners. Desirable - Experience operating at Creative Director, Executive Creative Director, Head of Photography or equivalent level. - National or international campaign experience. - Experience combining photography with video, digital content or other visual media. - Strong commercial and client-development experience. - Experience implementing emerging creative-production technologies.
